“Praise the LORD! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty firmament! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his surpassing greatness! Praise his with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with clanging cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that breathes praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!” (Psalm 150, NRSV) |

Christ Lutheran is pleased to have both physical and human resources for music in worship and at our events, including our choir and soloists, a pipe organ and wonderful grand piano, instrumentalists to step in and provide special accompaniment, and, of course, we have musicians to lead singing and make use of these fine instruments.
Our Adult Choir rehearses on Wednesday evenings during the school year to prepare anthems that proclaim the Good News and themes of our Sunday morning worship services. Our repertoire is widely varied, from traditional to contemporary, gospel, and jazz. We invite any singers – high school through adult – to join us and become involved in this vital ministry of the congregation.
Our Sunday Morning Live students also get an opportunity to sing during their educational time on Sunday mornings, and may sing in worship at times in the year.
Our own congregational ensemble, “Walking on Water,” has fun with music in a variety of styles on their guitars, bass, violin, and vocals, and plays on occasion.
